Toilet Training Autistic kids

I took the kids to Joshua’s OT appointment yesterday and talked with Annie about ideas to help with potty training.  She gave me a hand out from this site:

I looked over the site and was quite impressed with what I read.  I think we can do this.  It’s going to take some work, a lot of work, but Joshua is certainly capable to start the process.  I think the gathering the information phase is doable for right now.   I spoke with Ms. Katie and they will work on the same program at school, once she gets a chance to look it over.   I really need to get a collection of underwear as he only has about 6 pair of underwear and I have a feeling it’s going to take a few more pair (and some bleach).   I also have to be sure that when Daddy goes to the grocery store to buy more pull-ups, he gets the correct size.  He got some yesterday that were a size too big.  They will have to do, however, as we were completely out!  Yikes!
